Privacy: what the request form collects and who sees it

This page explains what you share when you send a request, why we ask, and who receives it.

What the form collects

The request form asks for the community where the property sits, your main concern and a phone number for the callback. Those three are needed to follow up.

You may also add your name, an email address, a few project details and your project stage. Some tools on the site can add your own answers to a request if you tick the box.

No payment information or Social Security number is needed, so please leave those out.

Why we ask

The details are used for one thing: to answer the project request you sent. They are not sold and they are not used to build an ad profile.

Who receives your request

Requests are shared with a local marine contractor, but only for the project named in the request. That contractor uses it to call you back.

Sharing starts only when you send the form. Browsing the site does not send anything to a contractor.

Hosting and trackers

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare handles the web traffic that reaches the pages.

No analytics service and no advertising tracker is set up on this site. The site does not run retargeting or ad pixels.

Questions about this page can come through the contact page. The disclosure page explains how requests are handled.

Retention and the current form

Accepted requests expire from active access after 180 days, with scheduled maintenance removing expired records.

Optional fields on tool and professional forms

A few forms here ask for more than the basics. You may be able to add an email, a street address, an organization, a closing date, notes about access and any project details you care to write. The warning-sign quiz results or an elevation check can be added as well. Anything attached is your own report. It is not an inspector’s finding.

A neighbor invite holds a random group code plus the waterway or community name you enter. Whoever has the link can ask to join, so do not put personal names, phone numbers or house addresses in that field. Opening an invite does not show who has joined or how to contact them. Once the organizer’s request is deleted or runs out, the invite no longer works. Other requests follow the retention rules set out above.

What you enter in the calculator and the questionnaires remains on your own device unless you add a summary to a request that you send. Preview forms neither send nor store anything. None of these tools uses ad tracking or takes payments.
