Disclosure: how Mobile Bay Bulkhead handles your request

This is the one place the site explains its role. It is short on purpose.

Our role

Mobile Bay Bulkhead is an independent planning site and a referral service. It explains how bulkhead, seawall and dock work is permitted around Mobile Bay.

The site does not do the work itself. It does not build, repair or inspect walls or docks.

Who gets your request

Each request sent through the form goes to a local marine contractor. The site shares it so that contractor can contact you about the project.

Your choice

You pick your own professional. You can use the contractor who calls, or you can hire someone else.

Any contract is between you and that professional. The site is not a party to it.

What this means for you

Get more than one written proposal. Look up each license before you sign. Our guide on verifying a contractor walks through the steps.
